Early Years Officer

Glenburn ELC Centre CS7420

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Early Years Officer to join the large team at Glenburn ELC Centre.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

The post is Full Time (37 hours), Term Time and is temporary to cover a career break from 12^th August 2026 to 25^th June 2027.

The ELC Centre is open from 8am to 6pm and you should be prepared to work a shift pattern between these hours.
