We are looking for an Information Governance Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality records management across the organisation.  You will be part of our wider Information Governance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in information governance, records management and data protection.  You will work as part of a professional team helping to ensure that information in managed effectively, securely and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

You will assist the Information Governance Team Leader to manage the Council’s records, in both paper and digital format. You will have a diploma in relevant subject area e.g. Business Administration or equivalent or the ability to demonstrate equivalent competency level attained through experience. You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimal supervision to follow agreed policies and procedures. Working as part of a small team within the Information Governance unit, you will respond to enquiries and provide advice on record management issues and maintain the Council’s corporate records database.   

The unit is based in Grangemouth although there will be opportunities to work from home or other locations.
