Invigilator (Casual)

An opportunity has arisen to join Falkirk Council's pool of Invigilators to support the delivery of examinations within our secondary schools.

You will assist in ensuring examinations are conducted in accordance with school procedures, helping to provide a secure, fair and supportive environment for candidates. Duties will include preparing examination rooms, supervising candidates during examinations, distributing and collecting examination materials and ensuring examination regulations are always followed.

You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to follow procedures accurately and maintain confidentiality. You will be reliable, organised and able to remain calm while working in a busy examination environment. Experience of working with young people and/or within an educational setting would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.

The post is casual and work will be offered on an as-required basis during examination periods.
