Lead Invigilator (Casual)

An opportunity has arisen to join Falkirk Council's pool of Lead Invigilators to support the delivery of examinations within our secondary schools.

You will have responsibility for leading invigilation teams and ensuring examinations are conducted in accordance with school procedures. Working closely with school staff, you will help coordinate examination arrangements, provide guidance to Invigilators and ensure examination sessions run effectively and securely.

You will have good organisational, communication and leadership skills and be able to demonstrate sound judgement when responding to situations that arise during examination sessions. You will be confident working independently, maintaining accurate records and supporting the consistent application of examination procedures. Experience of invigilation, educational settings or supervisory responsibilities would be advantageous.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate.

The post is casual and work will be offered on an as-required basis during examination periods.
