An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Early Years Officer (SEYO) to act as lead practitioner in providing high quality learning experiences for children aged 3-5 years at St Patrick’s Primary School, Early Learning and Childcare Class.

St Patrick's RC Primary School is a Catholic primary school, with a non-denominational nursery class, situated in Denny which is approximately 6 miles from Falkirk. The school provides education from nursery to primary 7.

We have an enhanced facility which allows us to support pupils with additional support needs.

The school provides a range of informal learning activities at the after-school clubs.

The school provides stages of education for Nursery to Primary 7. Present Roll 275 (in addition to the 64 in the ELCC).

The school leadership team is made up of a Headteacher, a Depute Headteacher, a Principal Teacher and, a newly appointed, 0.5 Principal Early Years Officer.

At St Patrick’s ELC we put our children at the heart of all we do.

We strive to create a welcoming, safe and homely environment where our children lead their own learning and develop as individual learners in a supportive and challenging ethos. We provide a stimulating environment for children to create, explore and learn through play so they develop a love of learning as their understanding of the world around them grows.

Our values are rooted in the celebration of our children. We want all our children to experience and feel:

Creativity     Happiness   Included   Love   Diversity    Respected    Equity    Nurtured
