Senior Early Years Officer (Bowhouse and Avonbridge Primary School, ELC Class)

A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officers at Bowhouse Primary School Early Learning and Childcare Class and Avonbridge Primary School ELC Class to cover secondments until June 2028.

The successful candidate will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare service within the school. You should have sound knowledge of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures with extensive experience of working with children from birth to 5 years.

You will hold an HNC in Childcare and Education, an SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification. You should hold a qualification to allow registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Experience or knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approach would be advantageous.

These are term-time posts, full time (37 hours) and is temporary with Falkirk Council Education Services. For internal candidates this is a secondment opportunity.

Please note salary will be adjusted for term time working.  

The dates for these positions are 10^th August 2026 until end of term June 2028.
