Role – Assistant Activity Co-ordinator (Older People Residential Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Older People Residential, Riverside Care Home (G40 3HU) and Meadowburn Care Home (G53 5AQ)
Contract Status – Permanent

At Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) our teams at Meadowburn Care Home and Riverside Care Home provide support to older adults requiring 24hr care 120 bed residential care homes. The support we provide varies depending on the needs of each resident and involves both physical assistance, and encouragement to enjoy and participate in meaningful activity.


The Assistant Activity Co-ordinator will work alongside the Activity Co-ordinator, supporting in the delivery of different meaningful, person-centred activities for our residents.


You will be required to assist residents in maximising their independence. You will also be involved with planning and conducting activities to meet individual and group needs.


Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment. Please note that successful candidates for the above role will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.


These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
