Job Description

Glasgow City HSCP is a partnership between Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde for health and social care services in Glasgow. Our vision is for community health and social work services to support people to flourish, work in partnership with communities and organisations to transform and improve health and wellbeing.

As Clerical Officer you will join part of a wider team of Business Support Staff within Older People’s Residential and Day Care Services. The Business Admin Support Team within the care homes and day centres play a key role in supporting and assisting service delivery and providing administrative support whilst working in a unique environment. We are looking for energetic self-motivated individuals to join us and be part of the Business Support Administration Team to carry out a range of administrative tasks with a focus on finance and cash handling.

Training will be provided in relation to service specific software applications. Applicants must demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the service and may at times be required to work from another work location. Successful applicants will require to attend and participate in training, including completion of mandatory on-line training courses/briefings. You will be part of a wider dynamic team who are working to improve and re-think how we deliver our business support to our services. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

Some posts (dependent upon appointment) may require a PVG Adult or PVG Child. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. FT - £22,365.65 - £25,183.21
PT - £16,893.22 - £17,988.00
