Job Description

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP) have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Officer Health and Safety to join our team.

Working in the GHSCP you will have specific responsibility for the management of the Health & Safety team within Social Work Services component of the partnership.  You will manage the arrangements to ensure the compliance of Health & Safety legislation and Council Management Standards.  It is essential that applicants have extensive practical experience in the management of health and safety, possess excellent communication, organisational, team management and analytical skills and have the confidence to liaise with Senior Managers providing advice and direction on Health and Safety matters.

You must be qualified with NEBOSH diploma or equivalent, and Chartered Membership of IOSH, is strongly desired. Applicants who can demonstrate they are working towards Chartered Membership of IOSH and are committed to attaining this, may apply.
