Role – Project Support Officer (Care Services)
Location – GCHSCP, Blair Court, 100 Borron Street, Glasgow, G4 9XE
Contract Status – Temporary, up to six months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the temporary position (up to 6 months) for a Project Support Officer to join the Quality Improvement Team within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), Care at Home Service.
The Care at Home Service assists older people throughout Glasgow, helping them maintain their independence at home. Our Quality and Improvement Team focus on enhancing our systems and processes to ensure we continuously meet the needs of our service users.
Reporting to the Quality Improvement Officer, you will be responsible for supporting our frontline teams including home carers, coordinators and senior management in the successful delivery of digital technology solutions and will work collaboratively as part of a skilled project team in the production of statistical and management information reports. This role is integral in the configuring and issuing of key technology and crucial provision to frontline teams, such as CareSafe and training in the monitoring / scheduling systems.
To succeed in this role, you must have previous administration experience, good literacy/numeracy skills, good communication/organisational skills, and a working knowledge of software packages such Microsoft Office & Excel; an ability to build highly effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders; the initiative and motivation to quickly develop systems knowledge; excellent communication skills; the ability to seek process improvements; and a positive, customer focused and self-motivated approach.
Previous experience and knowledge of Care Services, the complex and diverse systems used to support the delivery of our service such as CareSafe & Spark is essential, as is the delivery of peer support through awareness sessions and working within the fast-paced environment of a Care at Home service. An awareness of frontline staffing and operational structures is also key.
Due to the highly sensitive nature of the data sources, the successful candidate must also comply with GDPR and have experience in applying discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. The ability to present data (written and verbal) in a clear and concise manner for a variety of different stakeholders is also essential.
Please note this is a hybrid working role with a requirement of travelling to support frontline teams across the City, therefore a full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle is desirable.
