Job Description
South HSCP are recruiting a Service Manager post within the Children & Families Team to manage services within Social Work’s planning, legislative and financial framework.
We are looking for applicants who are imaginative, child-centred and committed to working to the ethos of the Promise in all aspects of your practice. You should possess a comprehensive knowledge of statutory responsibilities and relevant legislation along with an ability to lead and manage people and resources.
Applicants must possess strong leadership skills.
Applicants must possess a Degree / Diploma in Social Work (or Social Work equivalent) or be qualified in Community Education or Nursing or Occupational Therapy and be registered with the appropriate body where applicable.
Applicants must have substantial experience of people, financial and resource management, including performance management in an operational setting and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of statutory responsibilities and relevant legislation.
Applicants must have a demonstrable commitment to strengths based practice.
These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
SSSC Registration required.
