Team Leader - (Female) - 2 Posts - (1 x Full-Time), (1 x Part-Time)

Job Description

Social Work Services is recruiting to posts of Team Leader in Elder Street, the post is in a women's residential units which provide a full assessment and resettlement service.

You will have experience of working with vulnerable women with complex needs; case working and co-ordination of care packages; possess excellent people management and interpersonal skills; organisational and motivational skills and have the ability to develop positive working relationships with women experiencing homelessness.

You must possess good administration and organisational skills as well as good verbal, written and communication skills.

You will have experience of working with multi-agencies and partners to achieve positive outcomes and be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative.

Experience of supervising a small team would be desirable.

There is a shift rota in place which includes week-ends. HNC in Social Care / SVQ4 is desirable.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Check

Please note as part of the local government pay deal, local authority staff are currently not required to pay SSSC fees.

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).

Weekly Hours of Work - Full Time Post: 37 hours per week worked on a 2 week shift pattern
Part Time Post: 18.5 hours per week worked on a 4 week shift pattern

Salary Scale excluding non core payments - Full Time £31,621.08 - £36,830.15
Part Time £16714 - £19467.37
