Job Description

Glasgow Life is looking for 2 Admin Assistants to join us on a full-time permanent basis or a fixed term contract until June 2025. As Admin Assistant you will be joining our in-demand Business & Strategy Team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports all areas of Glasgow Life providing Admin support. We operate Admin Hubs to support the service areas. We have vacancies in our Museum Admin Hub and Corporate Services Admin Hub.

The role
As an Admin Assistant you’ll be an integral part of the team by ensuring admin needs are met by supporting your service area, colleagues of GL and Internal/External partners. You will report to the Admin Officer and work alongside an established Admin team.
The candidate
If you’re interested in joining us as an Admin Assistant, you’ll be required to:
• Plan and organise own work and co-ordinate/supervise work within the team
• Carry out a range of administrative services to support Admin Officer
• Providing guidance and support, assisting staff to carry out their function effectively
• Inputting data to systems accurately and timeously, preparing reports, and initiating action where appropriate
• Responding to enquiries, clarifying issues and providing an informed response in the most efficient and effective manner
• Liaising with internal and external customers and partners establishing effective working relationships

Both of these vacancies are working full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Some of our roles are currently piloting hybrid working, with teams working between the office and home. Your line manager may be able to agree this with you if operationally possible. This balance enables you to continue much-needed collaborative working.
