Full registration in PE and Dance
In order to teach Dance the SQA state that " teachers delivering/assessing Dance have completed at least two years' successful study of dance to a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) level (SCQF level 8) or have extensive knowledge in dance, which can be supported by vocational and teaching qualifications through accredited dance awarding bodies. It would also be beneficial if staff have, or are working towards, assessor qualifications, or are GTC registered". Applicants will be asked to provide evidence of their qualification to teach Dance. 

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with GTCS Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
