Team Leader (Environmental Health)

Job Description

You will lead a small team and will be enthusiastic, motivated and display flexibility in relation to work practices. You will be expected to undertake a range of Environmental Health duties, but with a particular focus on Public Health work streams. This is an exciting and rewarding position and the Team Leader role contributes towards the management of Environmental Health functions.

You must have good communications skills and previous supervisory experience.  A Degree and a Diploma in Environmental Health, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting are essential.  A current driving licence is essential.

The current working arrangement for this post is 5 pm - 3:30 am with a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off. However, this is currently under review.
