Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Technical Manager to join our Technical Support service on a permanent basis.

Position Details
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing our Public Space CCTV network engineering, install, and maintenance programmes. The role will oversee various projects from management to delivery, along with quality management processes, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to the highest relevant industry standards. This will be delivered through the provision of advanced technical advice and expertise.
You will lead a team of engineers to ensure the seamless operation of our CCTV systems, and will leverage your expertise in modern CCTV systems, security systems, and engineering principles & networks, to maintain and enhance our networks effectiveness and efficiency.

An SCQF Level 8 qualification in either Information Computer Technology or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience is an essential requirement for this role.
Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £41,304.05 - £47,408.34 on an incremental scale

Key Pre-Employment Information
As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate(s) will have to undergo a BS7858 Security Screening check which will involve a 5 or 10-year career history check, a financial probity check and criminal record screening. This will be completed in addition to the Council’s own standard pre-employment checks, which will be detailed to the successful candidate(s) following interviews.
As part of the pre-employment checks for this post the successful candidate(s) will have to undergo a Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 1 check which assesses the honesty, integrity, reliability, and overall suitability for clearance of non-police personnel who have unsupervised physical and/or remote access to police premises, classified police information and/or intelligence, financial or operational assets, and/or police systems.
