Job Purpose: To be responsible for assisting the Legal Manager in the provision, delivery and management of the Council’s in-house litigation and advice legal service involving the securing of high-quality services in line with the Council’s corporate priorities and in support of effective service delivery. To assist in the management of the team engaged in the delivery of litigation and advice services across the Highland Council area. To undertake complex cases over a variety of areas which the Council is responsible for.

Requirements
Scottish LLB law degree or equivalent Scottish qualification.
Diploma in Legal Practice.
Current Practising Certificate from the Law Society of Scotland.
5+ PQE.
Comprehensive litigation & advocacy experience in the Scottish Courts.
