Job Purpose: To be responsible for the management of a residential and short break service, including the staff, the budget, the resources and fabric of the building and the welfare of the young people and staff.

Requirements

Social work degree or approved equivalent qualification recognised by SSSC or a registered nurse for learning disability. For this post you must have current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council or NMC and must comply with their Code of Practice.

Given the nature of this job, the postholder will be required to make visits away from their normal base on a regular basis. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration may be given to the postholder making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
