SENIOR SOCIAL WORK PRACTITIONER – BASED LAWSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, GOLSPIE

BAND 7 SALARY: (£46,244 - £53,789)

This is a new and exciting opportunity to share your expertise as an experienced practitioner and directly assist the Social Work Team Manager with their duties and responsibilities.

Working under the supervision of the Social Work Team Manager within your District, you will provide leadership, advice, support and guidance to social workers and social care staff within your District Team.

You will lead on elements of practice to ensure that professional standards and service objectives as set out within the terms of legislation, policy, guidance and delegated responsibilities are adhered to.

You will contribute to service improvement and quality of practice of the District Team and ensure their contribution to the delivery of Integrated Health and Social Care for the adult population of Sutherland. This is a significant time of change in NHS Highland’s approach to service delivery and the post holder will have an important role in supporting team members through the change process.

This is a permanent full-time post working 37 hours per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.

A driving licence is essential and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
