Job Advert
Enthusiastic and confident individuals are required to assist in providing an excellent library service throughout Midlothian Libraries, as required to cover staff absences. You can choose which libraries you wish to work in and the hours which suit you. There is no guarantee of work being available and no requirement that you accept work offered. Your duties will include issuing and discharging library materials, sorting and shelving stock items, general administrative procedures and helping users in using the full range of library services.
You may have the opportunity to cover other Customer Service roles across Midlothian Council.

Requirements
Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard.
