Job Description

To carry out the duties of a Standard Craft Operative (SCO) Painter and to contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective maintenance service.

 

Responsibilities

To undertake craft duties as directed by the Repairs/Voids/Contracts Supervisor.

To participate in alternative shift pattern rotas.

To undertake training as required.

To comply with all Health and Safety and security procedures and guidelines.

To undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected from time to time.

 

The Individual

Time Served Painter & Decorator or able to demonstrate required competencies.

Minimum of SVQ Level 3 in Painting & Decorating/ Tiling or equal.

Capable of working on own or as a team member.

Full driving licence.

Good all round knowledge of decoration and general construction works.

Good communication skills Ability to be diplomatic with clients/staff.

Be polite and of tidy appearance.

Ability to show high level of customer care.

Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the practice of good team working.

Able to undertake all the duties of the post.
