Job Summary

Temporary for 12 months

During Covid-19, we are taking the opportunity to work in different ways and this includes how we continue to undertake our interviews. We are using Microsoft Teams to progress with interviews virtually and all you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

Eglinton Community Gardens is a thriving environmental and health improvement collaboration between local government, third sector, NHS and local community groups.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced individual to coordinate, facilitate and deliver activities between all groups on site and also coordinate outreach aspects. You should be passionate about and have an understanding of the benefits that community gardens bring to improving local environments, promoting community cohesion and supporting the health and well-being of people of all ages. Some aspects of this role may be physically demanding and will involve regular manual handling.

You must be prepared to work out with normal working hours which includes evenings and weekends and will involve working outdoors in all weathers.
