An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership for an enthusiastic individual looking to undertake change management. We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to undertake the role of Service Manager within children with disabilities and adults with learning disabilities services. This role will lead and implement the transformation of social work services for children and adults with disabilities to ensure that children and young people with disabilities receive the right care at the right place and in the right time with timely future planning and seamless support when transitioning to adult services. The postholder will be required to develop and implement a Transformation programme to achieve the desired outcome. The postholder will be a qualified Social Worker to ensure that professional supervision is available to the team managers. They will also lead on the development of practice improvement through the delivery of the practice principles outlined in the Social Work research scope. They should have experience in working with either children or adults with disabilities. This is initially a fixed term post for 23 months.
