Job Summary

Temporary for 26 Weeks.

Hours are between 16-20 hours per week.

Interviews will be held 29th July 2024.

North Ayrshire Council is creating temporary positions within our Skills for Life programme. The programme is funded by Scottish Government and aims to support 5 Parents, to gain training, skills and experience within Facilities Management. These placements will be for 26 weeks , 16 - 20 hours per week 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday, paid at the Real Living Wage, £12 ph. To be considered for the post you must be a Parent with a dependant child(ren), living in North Ayrshire and currently unemployed.

North Ayrshire Council will hold interviews and a time will be allocated, after you have successfully completed the application form and meet the eligibility criteria. All successful applicants will be notified of interview by 22nd July 2024.

A PVG is required for this post. When attending the interview, under Asylum & immigration Act and PVG disclosure, you will be required to provide ID documentation. We would require Passport or Full birth certificate along with proof of N.I. Number for Asylum ID. For PVG we require 3 forms of ID (1 being photographic) we can use the Asylum ID, towards this.
