An opportunity has arisen within the Health and Social Care Partnership Finance Team for a trainee accountant post. The successful candidate will be expected to study for the CIPFA (Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy) qualification. They will be responsible for assisting a range of services in monitoring their budgets. Additional tasks will include a role in Annual Accounts, budget setting and various annual government returns. The salary for this post ranges from Grade 5 (£23,915 to £24,573) to Grade 9 (£34,585 to £37,581) with progression through the grades from Grade 5 to Grade 7 and then onto Grade 9. The successful candidate will be placed at a point based on their experience and current qualifications and further progression will be based on completing key stages of the CIPFA qualification.
