We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and highly motivated Relationship Manager to lead a team responsible for delivering key professional services to Senior Leaders in the organisation and partner agencies. The role is pivotal in developing robust relationships with council services, strategic partners, and stakeholders.

You will play a critical role in helping the Council achieve its objectives as set out in the Plan for North Lanarkshire and its newly refreshed Programme of Work. Working a hybrid model of home-working and office-based within Civic Square, Motherwell you will have responsibility for a varied portfolio of delivery including the Council’s Corporate Complaints arrangements, supporting the strategic Community Planning arrangements in North Lanarkshire and overseeing the day to day support offered to the Corporate Management team and collaborating with the Lord Lieutenant on Lanarkshire Lieutenancy duties.

As an important member of the Business Strategy team, you will support the Business Partnership Manager in the development of business planning, community planning and oversight requirements for the arms length organisations.

Educated to degree or equivalent level, you should have management experience and be skilled in the development of presenting information both orally and written. Oversight of strategies goals, strategies and polices would be beneficial.

Evidence of developing and maintaining constructive working relationships is essential.
