We aim to provide staff, communities, customers and businesses with responsive and inclusive technology so that they can more effectively operate in an increasingly interconnected and digitally enabled world.

Reporting to the Business Analyst Manager within the Business Strategy Team, we are looking for a dynamic, confident, and highly motivated individual to lead on the development of the Career Pathways Model and to co-ordinate the planning, resourcing and delivery of activities associated with the model.

Career Pathways is an internal project developed to create opportunities for young people across North Lanarkshire who are interested in business strategy, digital transformation and ICT infrastructure.

You must demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and be educated to degree/SVQ4/HND standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

You should have substantial previous experience of project management and experience of working with third party partners, suppliers and procurement of third-party business packages/solutions would also be advantageous.

A key aspect of this role will be to co-ordinate all the different strands of the Career Pathways model and develop robust reporting tools to track and measure the success of the programme, identify any issues or areas for improvement.

Building strong relationships, providing clear communications and regular reporting to various governance boards will be a key aspect of this role. You will do this by following consistent project management methods, governance and controls through standard processes.

You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team within Business and Digital who currently operate a hybrid model of home-working and office-based work at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.

This vacancy is temporary until December 2024.
