We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to undertake Cook duties at Kalisgarth Care Centre. Kalisgarth provides extra care housing support and a day centre service in Westray. You will prepare a choice of nutritional meals to a consistently high standard whilst ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene.
Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar post and should ideally hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate or Elementary Food Hygiene with the requirement to achieve Intermediate Food Hygiene. An SVQ 2 or equivalent level qualification in Hospitality and Catering would be highly desirable.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
The post is subject to Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
