Garage Labourer
37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm, Friday 8am – 3.30pm Permanent
£26,251 - £26,599 / £13.61 - £13.77 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are recruiting a Garage Labourer to join our busy team at our garage facilities based at Hatston, Kirkwall.
A range of general duties will be required as part of the role and will include assisting the team of mechanics with various work undertaken in the garage, delivering vehicles to Council Services, cleaning vehicles, assisting with garage store collections/deliveries and general cleaning duties within the garage.
The ability to manage your own time effectively is essential as you will be working to deadlines in this role. You will be customer focused and will strive to ensure that tasks are completed safely and on time.
A ‘B’ class (car) driving licence is essential and a ‘C1 or C ’ class LGV driving licence is desirable.
