Hours are offered on an as and when required basis

£15.50 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

The purpose of this role is to undertake duties as a kitchen assistant, assisting with the school meal service at various schools. 

Duties include serving meals, basic food preparation and cooking, operating the till, setting up and clearing down the dining area, washing up and cleaning.

The necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are an Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent. Applicants must also have a good general standard of education, a minimum of three months experience of customer service in a hospitality environment and the ability to demonstrate basic knowledge of food safety and HACCP.

This post is a regulated role with children and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
