The above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance
Suitable candidates are sought for the above vacancy for Support for Learning Assistant to work in Kirkwall Grammar school. As a member of the school team you will be expected to work with pupils, colleagues and parents.
We require candidates to have experience in working with young people and to be committed to supporting, encouraging and including all children in achieving their potential.
You should have a good general standard education including evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy and hold a SCQF level 5 qualification, e.g. SVQ2, NC or PDA in relevant subject area.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
