Bertha Park High School, Perth

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Assistant to join our team at Bertha Park High School.

You will be working in the school office as part of a team providing an administrative service to staff, young people and families, as well as the wider school community.

You will be required to carry out a varied range of clerical tasks to support business operations and display good ICT skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365.

The anticipated start date for this post is Monday 12 August 2024.

The Individual

Everyone on the team needs to work together and be ready to do whatever it takes to provide the experiences our young people deserve.

It is an essential part of this role to have experience of working within a busy environment and prioritise tasks accordingly. You must be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents as well as external agencies.

There are many online systems and packages that we use in the office and full training will be given on these so you must be willing to learn.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who will be willing to embrace school life, keen to develop their knowledge and skills and work well as part of a wider school team.

For further information about this vacancy, please contact Morag McLaren, Office Supervisor, by emailing mbmclaren@pkc.gov.uk

When completing your application for this post, please ensure that you provide contact details (including e-mail addresses) for two referees.  One should be your current or most recent employer.

Please APPLY ONLINE.  Facilities are available at all public libraries in Perth and Kinross.  If you have a disability and require reasonable adjustments, please call 01738 475555 to discuss.
