£20,588 - £22,120 (30 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Goodlyburn Primary School, Perth

We are recruiting for a Community Learning Assistant to provide support to Primary school pupils in Perth and Kinross.

This is a fixed term post until 30 June 2025, working 30 hours per week, term time.

In this role, you will assist primary schools to positively engage children and families in their learning by supporting their social, emotional and mental wellbeing.

You will work closely with your allocated schools to deliver a range of universal and targeted interventions and be able to evidence how the support has led to better outcomes for children.

The Individual

You will have SVQ3 or equivalent qualification.

As a Community Learning Assistant, you will be caring and compassionate with a holistic child-centred approach.

Experience of identifying barriers to school participation and helping children to engage in a range of supportive activities is essential therefore you should also be able to establish effective relationships with children and their families and treat those we support with dignity and respect.  

You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
