We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Early Learning and Childcare Practitioner to join the large, friendly team at Inch View.

We are seeking an individual who has experience within an early learning or a childcare environment. As part of a 2-12 year service you will plan, deliver and support the provision of high-quality care and provide a range of appropriate stimulating and creative experiences for children 3-12 years.

As part of the Glenearn Community Campus, we offer excellent facilities in a modern and attractive, open-plan nursery which offers wrap around care for up to 60 children.

Please note that this post is whole-year working rather than term-time.

The post holder will also be required to work Monday to Friday from 11.30-6pm.

The Individual

The successful candidate will already hold an appropriate qualification, eg SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF Level 7 equivalent or SVQ3 in either Childcare and Education or Social Services (Children and Young People).

The role requires sensitivity, patience and compassion along with a welcoming approach to generate a feeling of trust and safety for children and their family / carers.

A genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and the important qualities are kindness, sensitivity, respectfulness, and good manners and to respect confidentiality at all times.
