We're looking for a transformative Head Teacher to lead Moncreiffe Primary School and it's ambitious staff group in achieving the best possible outcomes for it's young people.

With previous experience of embedding systems and practices to deliver great school improvement outcomes, this role provides the perfect opportunity for you to deploy all your skills and experience to deliver that goal.

Moncreiffe Primary School is at the heart of the Moncreiffe Community within Perth City. We are situated in the south of the city, nestled underneath St Magdelene’s Hill, a local outdoor learning spot. We are close to the M90 motorway and accessible for all routes across Perth.

The Head Teachers Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2019 require candidates who are appointed to their first permanent Head Teacher post from 1 August 2020 to have attained the Standard for Headship. If you have not gained this qualification, appointment can only be made on a fixed term basis for maximum period of 30 months. Perth & Kinross Council are committed to supporting candidates gain this qualification.
