Are you an enthusiastic and motivated occupational therapist? Do you have a passion for supporting people to live in their own homes and to participate in the activities that are important to them? Then we’d love you to join our friendly, supportive OT team.
Our ideal candidate should be motivated and engaging, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effective time management skills are essential in order to effectively manage the demands of a busy and evolving caseload. This full time permanent role will be based within our OT intake team, offering intervention to individuals across the localities of Perth and Kinross. We offer a hybrid & flexible working approach to support a modern way of working.
For purposes of connection and collaboration with colleagues and with the community we serve, our full-time employees work on site for a minimum of 2 days per week with the arrangements for part time employees being agreed on a basis which will ensure that they benefit to an equivalent degree. Requirements

An important part of the role will involve information gathering and co-ordination of Occupational Therapy support to identify the most appropriate outcome for service users. Your role will be to improve a person’s quality of life and you will undertake comprehensive assessments and rehabilitation. You will support minor and major adaptations, and undertake equipment provision, specialist seating assessments and moving with dignity assessments to assist individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence in the community.
 
You will work closely with other Occupational Therapy colleagues in the integrated team, as well as our other community colleagues such as Social workers, GPs, Community Nursing, care providers and voluntary sector. Regular clinical and professional supervision are valued and prioritised within the service and the successful candidate will be supported to take up a range of training and professional development opportunities.

You must have Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy. You must be registered with HCPC
Appropriate post qualification experience is highly desirable. You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
