Sustainable and Social Transport Team Leader

Renfrewshire Council is seeking to recruit a Sustainable and Social Transport Team Leader, who will be responsible for overseeing transport related duties. You will support the Fleet and Sustainable Transport Manager in the strategic management and co-ordination duties for the delivery of the Council Fleet Services that achieve best value and deliver an efficient, sustainable, safe and customer focussed service.

 

 

It is essential that you have a degree level or relevant appropriate professional qualification, or evidence of professional competence and skill gained over an appropriate period. In addition, you will have experience of social transport infrastructure, transportation, and fleet services within a large and diverse organisation as well as the ability to operate throughout the organisation and can demonstrate effective influencing skills in order to deliver business objectives.

 

 

You will further have experience in the financial management of social transport services and internal fleet hire operations and experience of working strategically with key partners to develop and deliver services.

 

 

A driving license is essential for this post.

 

 

It is desirable that you have a track record of leading/supporting strategic change, service delivery and service improvements including culture change and team building.
