Renfrewshire is a leading organisation in the transformation from analogue to digital alarm services. We are looking for a TEC (Technology Enabled Care) Service Lead who has knowledge and understanding of the Telecare service, a candidate who has skills to support this pivotal role in our service with a strong focus on service transformation, digital skills, leadership skills, budget management.

 

 

The service holds a registration with the TSA, the post holder will ensure that procedures, polices and protocols are up to date and followed in accordance with the terms of the TSA's (TEC Services Association) Quality Standards Framework, and that service standards are in line with the requirements of the registration.

 

 

You will promote the use of Telecare and digital equipment through the provision of information and will also provide leadership and management to the Telecare Team, motivate, and inspire a team to deliver outstanding levels of service to our customers through effective supervision of staff and pro-active line management of the Telecare operation.

 

 

You will lead the team and provide support and direction alongside dealing with service escalated actions where necessary, taking appropriate action and ensuring a satisfactory resolution to support service implementation.

 

 

You will offer mentoring, coaching and advice to the team and have responsibility for first line complaint investigation and for conducting routine line management tasks, performance management, budget management and staff appraisals.

 

 

It is essential you have Management/ supervisory experience, effective IT, interpersonal, communication, organisational, administrative, and analytical skills, and the ability to produce and deliver concise visual presentations to a range of audiences. You will be able to produce reports on service performance, future service needs and establish the requirements of a range of analytical reports that will inform development of the service and strategic plans which requires report writing and numeracy skills.

 

 

Experience of establishing and delivering training programmes, Experience of assessment of need, particularly risk assessment and risk management and Experience of working across statutory, independent, and voluntary sector organisations is essential.

 

 

You must have Knowledge of Telehealthcare policies, procedures, and practice.

 

 

SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and full current driving licence is essential as is the flexibility to work out with normal office hours when required – evenings and weekends.

 

 

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funded for 12 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.

 

 

Post holders will be expected to be flexible in their duties and carry out any other duties falling within the general scope of the job, as requested by management and to undertake work of a similar level.
