Contract Duration: Temporary until 31st March 2027 or earlier return of post holder ( Subject to funding approval this role will be extended to 1st August 2027 )

Role Purpose
We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to coordinate in the Hawick cluster.
The fundamental aim of the Active Schools Network is to offer all children and young people the opportunities and motivation to adopt active, healthy lifestyles, now and into adulthood.
Be part of the team responsible for developing and supporting an infrastructure within the school and wider community to achieve our aim.
Be part of the team making this happen by recruiting, supporting and sustaining a network of volunteers, coaches, leaders and school staff who in turn deliver physical activity opportunities before school, during lunchtime, after school and in the wider community.
A degree and further relevant experience or qualifications in a sports and/or business-related discipline are required.
If you can clearly demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the aims of the Active Schools network and have extensive experience of engaging with children and young people through sport and physical activity in education, sport, health, community leisure and/or recreation industries as well as proven project management experience, we would love to hear from you.
