Role Purpose

This is a multi disciplined job in a busy fabrication workshop . The successful candidate will be provided with various training and a great remuneration package. This is a growing department and career development is possible. The purpose of the role of a Fabrication Welder/Mechanic within the Blacksmith workshop, is to carry out fabrication and welding works on both large and small projects as well as to repair and maintain vehicles, including fabrication, welding and corrosion repairs.

Fabrication Welder City and Guilds time served or relevant industry experience A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
