The Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

Assess the needs of adults with a range of physical, sensory, cognitive, and mental health conditions.
Develop and implement outcome-focused care and support plans.
Recommend and arrange equipment, adaptations, and specialist interventions.
Work closely with service users, carers, health professionals, housing colleagues, and partner agencies.
Contribute to prevention and early intervention initiatives that support independent living.
Manage a varied caseload while maintaining accurate records and professional standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary working and service development activities.

About You

You will be:

A qualified Occupational Therapist with a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Committed to promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing.
Skilled in assessment, problem-solving, and risk management.
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
An excellent communicator with strong report-writing and interpersonal skills.
Flexible, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.

Experience within social work, community rehabilitation, housing adaptations, or adult social care is desirable but not essential.

Essential

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.*
