Role Purpose
To lead and manage Leader Valley Enhanced Provision @ Peebles (a resource for primary aged children with Severe and Complex Needs). This is under the direction of the Headteacher of Leader Valley School. To provide direction, support and advice to the team of staff who work with the pupils in the Enhanced Provision and Support Class. To ensure effective teaching and learning for all pupils.
Essential
• A degree or diploma in primary education or PGCE/PGDE along with evidence of continued personal professional development
• General Teaching Council Scotland Full registration
• Experience of working with children with a range of additional support needs
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
