Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council is seeking a motivated and customer focused Tweeddale Roads Inspector to join our Roads Asset Team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing and maintaining the Council's road network across the Tweeddale area, helping to ensure that roads, footways, drainage systems and associated infrastructure assets remain safe, serviceable and fit for purpose for residents, businesses and visitors of the Scottish Borders.

 

Essential

• Accredited qualification in Road Inspection, or willing to obtain within 1year.

• Health and Safety Awareness accreditation or willing to obtain within 1year.

• A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
