Job Description

What is the role?

Can you make a difference to the future lives of South Ayrshire’s young children with additional support needs? The Central Peripatetic Team is a group of peripatetic services that support children with additional support needs across the local authority. We seek to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic Early Years Practitioner with an excellent track record in supporting children’s learning.

The successful applicant will work across peripatetic services with a focus within two areas: the Early Years Home Visiting service providing bespoke support to individual children up to the age of three with significant additional support needs in their own home; and Language Provision where specialised support is provided for children from pre-school to primary 2 who have an identified/probable severe developmental language disorder.

We are looking for someone who can work collegiately and individually to support children and their families, providing excellent early level experiences.

You must be a solution-focused, committed, passionate and well-qualified early years practitioner who will inspire the development of our children.
