Job Description
Housing & Technical Resources require an experienced Plumber within the established Council Headquarters maintenance team.
You will benefit from having a commercial background with commercial plumbing experience.
You will ensure the effective, safe maintenance, repairs and operation of key plant, equipment, and services in line with current legislation health and safety and good working practices.
You will be required to operate, maintain, and repair the key plant and services within the South Lanarkshire Council HQ campus and associated buildings.
You will be required to carry out the planned maintenance schedule, reactive repairs, and work with other members of the team in providing cover for the continued operation of the buildings.
You will also be required to submit all departmental documentation accurately and timeously, responsive and cyclical.
As a member of the maintenance team, you will also be required to assist in various multiskilled tasks.
