Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to take on the role of Finance Adviser with Benefits and Revenue Services, part of the Finance Transactions Service.

Reporting to the Benefit and Revenue Manager, the responsibilities of the post are varied and offer the post holder the opportunity to gain experience in financial management in a dynamic and challenging range of services.

This is a crucial role for the service and the post holder will be expected to ensure financial and system controls for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction, Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates, Sundry Debt, Income Management and Scottish Welfare Fund.

The post holder will have operational management responsibility and is expected to work collaboratively with the service and contractors to achieve performance targets and deliver continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualification Required: Professional Accountancy, CCAB
