South Lanarkshire Council is an ambitious, high performing organisation with a clear vision and programme of action which is designed to improve the lives and prospects of everyone in South Lanarkshire.

The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire.

In partnership with community planning partners, voluntary and independent provider organisations, we offer a range of services designed to enable, support, improve and protect the health and social care of people using our services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to work as part of our strategic planning and performance team.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive management information to senior and frontline managers to support service planning, performance management and day to day resource allocation. In achieving this, you will be required to build and maintain management information systems, develop and update new and existing management information reports and provide guidance to colleagues across the Resource in relation to system development, management information and performance reporting. The interrogation, analysis and quality assurance of management information provided are central to achieving this. You should have the ability to use initiative and work creatively to identify trends and solutions, work to tight timescales and respond flexibly to changing priorities. You will be required to work internally across Council Resources and with other key partners including Scottish Government, NHS Lanarkshire and Third Sector organisations.
