Job Description

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture SCIO (SLLC) are seeking a Procurement Officer based within the Corporate Services team.

The Procurement Officer will be required to carry out procurement projects, including but not limited to call off from existing Frameworks or DPS. Other activities, including providing procurement and tendering advice and support, management of contracts and the contracts register of the organisation will be other key responsibilities.

Experience working within procurement in the public sector is preferred, though candidates from a private or third sector background would also be considered. Candidates must have a high standard of technical knowledge, including the tendering process, and preferably be qualified to a minimum CIPS Level 4/Diploma level. SLLC encourages continual training and development, including funding to achieve MCIPS.
