Job Description

Location: East Kilbride Arts Centre, Old Coach Road, East Kilbride

Hours: 35 hours per week (hours over 7 days depending on events schedule).

Duration: Fixed Term until 19 December 2024

Please note: This is a temporary vacancy to provide cover for a position that will be taken up by certain permanent employee in due course.

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Catering Assistant to provide a quality catering service to our customers within East Kilbride Arts Centre.

Duties will include the preparation and cooking of food and the serving of food and beverages.

This post will include weekends, evenings and public holidays to meet the needs of our events schedule.

Please note applicants must be 18 years of age or older in order to comply with Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

Responsibilities

REHIS qualification and previous catering and customer service is preferred.

To maintain high hygiene standards.

To undertake practical tasks in relation to the storage, preparation, including the cleaning of floors, walls, and bar equipment.
