Location: Rutherglen Town Hall, 139 Main Street, Rutherglen
Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Shift: Includes evenings, weekends and Public Holidays.
Duration: Fixed Term until 19th December 2024
Please note:-This is a temporary vacancy to provide cover for a position that will be taken up by certain permanent employee in due course.
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Facilities Assistant to provide a range of services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities in Rutherglen Town Hall. You will be required to assist at events, to set up equipment for functions and to undertake cleaning duties.
You must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of our events schedule.
Shift patterns are a mixture of early shifts (8am - 4pm/9.30am - 17.30pm), day shifts (12noon - 8pm/1.30pm-9.30pm) and late shifts (2pm - 10pm/2pm - 2am) .
We are looking for a flexible individual with customer service experience. The post will involve working shifts in the evenings, at weekends and on public holidays.
Please note applicants must be 18 years of age or older in order to comply with Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

Responsibilities
To maintain high hygiene standards.
To undertake practical tasks in relation to the storage, preparation, including the cleaning of floors, walls, and bar equipment.
